Right, so for Vicesteed, my Victorian clockpunk-ish story, I'm thinking of calling the group in charge of regulating technology (preserving people from evil Old Earth technology, which wasn't their original mandate, ahem) Lovelace House.

Too obvious? I'm assuming that most computer programmers will know this name--how about the rest of you?
