Challenge(s): Figuring out if there was a standardized spelling for "guide line" and "zero-g" (Answer: Not that I could find.)
Which extrapolation is it anyways?He'd instinctively matched her velocity and angle so that he would float a constant six feet behind her. The military's zero-g protocol dictated that personnel stay close enough to help in case of danger, but far enough back to avoid unplanned collisions. When he saw the surprise on her face, he knew he'd made a mistake by showing his proficiency.
Notes: I'd worked and then run errands on my way home, and then had to cook and eat lunch at around 2--so I didn't actually have much time to write. But it flowed, which was a huge relief.
